SPOILER ALERT: Dive into the world of 'Outlander: Blood of My Blood' Episode 10, now streaming on Starz!

The season finale leaves us with a tantalizing cliffhanger, hinting at Henry, Julia, and their baby William's potential time travel adventure. Will they embrace the unknown together? Only time will tell as we eagerly await Season 2.

What we do know is that Episode 10 delivers some of the most heartfelt and long-awaited scenes featuring the Beauchamp clan. It's a breath of fresh air amidst the heartache.

'Outlander: Blood of My Blood' reimagines Claire's tragic past, presenting an alternate scenario where her parents, Henry and Julia, time travel to the era of Jamie's parents, Brian and Ellen. Here, Henry becomes the Grant Clan's bladier, while Julia faces domestic challenges before seducing Lord Lovat to protect her son.

In Episode 8, Julia and Henry reconnect, and by Episode 9, they're planning their escape. The Season 1 finale sees them finally execute their plan, with Julia staging an 'abduction' to bring the family to Craigh na dun. Along the way, they pause by a fire, and Henry gets his first chance to hold his son - a tender moment that offers solace.

Jeremy Irvine shares, "I had no memory of filming that scene. Watching it back, I was glad it was included. We needed to show they had a moment, given the high stakes."

Hermione Corfield adds, "Fans want to see Brian and Ellen together. I think this is the first time we see them as a proper unit through the stones."

Irvine teases, "There will be more of that. Thank goodness, as the heartache has been extreme."

The episode also features flashbacks to the 1920s, showcasing the idyllic post-World War I life of Henry, Julia, and little Claire. Irvine shares his love for working with kids, saying, "It's real for them. You tell them to play, and they react naturally."

Corfield agrees, "The children have been sweet and fun to work with. It's nice to improvise and react to their energy."

Even the intense moments in the finale were filled with fun behind the scenes. Take, for instance, the scene where Henry confronts Lovat's enforcer, Balloch, played by Chick Allan.

Irvine describes Allan as, "The biggest, hairiest, cuddly teddy bear. An absolute sweetheart."

Corfield adds, "He's so lovely and gentle. Not like Balloch at all."

Irvine jokes, "The idea of me, as Jeremy, taking him out is laughable. He could crush me with one hand!"

But in the world of 'Outlander,' Henry emerges victorious.
